They are well – adapted for low – pressure hydraulic systems, such as those found in ships and agricultural machinery. In contrast, high – pressure hydraulic oil pipes function at pressures above 16MPa and are predominantly utilized in high – pressure hydraulic systems, including those of machine tools and construction machinery.

The design of hydraulic oil pipes is a complex process that requires careful consideration of numerous factors. These include working pressure, fluid flow rate, temperature, vibration, and the potential for corrosion. Among the most crucial parameters in the design process are the diameter and wall thickness of the hydraulic oil pipes. These dimensions must be determined based on the working pressure and flow rate requirements. Generally, as the diameter of the hydraulic oil pipe decreases, its ability to withstand higher working pressures increases. The wall thickness, on the other hand, is determined by the strength and toughness of the pipe material. It is essential to ensure that the pipe can resist deformation and breakage under the applied working pressure.
