Your car’s air conditioning (AC) system relies on car AC hoses to carry refrigerant—without them, cool air can’t reach the cabin. 1. Turn Off the AC at Low Speeds
When you’re stuck in traffic or driving at low speeds, turn off your car’s AC.
Never rev the engine higher to “boost” AC efficiency—it won’t help, and it will harm your system.
Over-revving strains the AC compressor and the car AC hoses connected to it. This strain shortens the compressor’s life and can cause AC hoses to crack or leak refrigerant over time.

2. Follow the Right AC Switching Procedure
