1.Selection of the rated pressure of the pressure washer hose

The rated pressure of the pressure washer hose should be equal to or greater than the rated pressure of the pressure washer hose, and only in this way can the service life of the pressure washer hose reach the standard.

In addition, when the high-pressure cleaner is running, the pressure of the pump must not exceed the rated pressure of the pressure washer hose. If it exceeds, the service life of the hose will be reduced. If it exceeds 25%, the hose life will be reduced by half. At the same time, there is a risk of bursting at joints, etc.

2.Selection of rated flow rate of pressure washer hose

The flow rate of high-pressure water in the pressure washer hose is determined by the inner diameter and flow rate of the hose. The high-pressure water flow rate in the hose is generally 6-8m/s.

In addition, under the condition of the same inner diameter, such as 10mm, when the flow rate increases from 50L/min to 75L/min, the pressure loss increases by 130%. That is to say, when the diameter of the pressure washer hose remains unchanged, increasing the flow rate or increasing the average velocity of the high-pressure water will produce greater resistance or pressure loss.

Therefore, when choosing to increase the flow rate to improve the cleaning efficiency of the high pressure washer, it is necessary to weigh the negative impact caused by the pressure loss at the same time.

3.The inner diameter of the pressure washer hose must match the pump

If the inner diameter of the selected hose does not match the specified diameter of the high-pressure pump, and the diameter is too small, the water flow cannot escape, which will cause the pump to fail. Internal circulation will increase the load of the high-pressure pump, or make the high-pressure pump in a state of holding back pressure, and long-term work will affect the life of the high-pressure pump. And it will shorten the service life of the pressure washer hose.

The larger the inner diameter and mass of the pressure washer hose, the greater the frictional resistance, and the smaller the self-advancement distance of the nozzle. The selection of the inner diameter of the pressure washer hose is constrained by two mutually limiting factors: from the perspective of reducing the dynamic pressure loss on the nozzle, the larger the inner diameter, the better;

4.The length of the pressure washer hose is selected

The shorter the length of the pressure washer hose, the smaller the pressure loss and the greater the effective striking force on the nozzle. Therefore, in the actual cleaning operation, the length of the pressure washer hose should be shortened as much as possible.
