PE is polyethylene, a thermoplastic resin made by polymerization of ethylene. It is odorless, non-toxic and harmless, and feels like a rubber candle. In addition, it has excellent low temperature resistance and chemical stability. Therefore, it is resistant to most acid and alkali erosion.
PP is polypropylene, a thermoplastic resin made by polymerization of propylene. It usually appears as a translucent colorless solid, odorless and non-toxic. It has a high melting point, up to 167°C, and has heat and corrosion resistance. The things made can be sterilized with steam; it has a low density and is the lightest general-purpose plastic; the material has a high degree of crystallinity, so the appearance stiffness and scratch resistance of this material are worthy of praise.
